When executing a jumping technique the exponent must land with both feet inside the Fighting Area.

***MAJORITY RULES***
SHOULD ONE REFEREE AWARD A POINT TO ONE FIGHTER AND THE OTHER REFEREE AWARDS ONE POINT EACH TO EACH COMPETITOR, THE POINTS WILL ONLY BE AWARDED TO THE ONE, WITH THE MAJORITY DECISION.

AREA EXITS
Should a competitor exit the area without being punched or kicked out of the area by his opponent. This will be counted as EXIT on the 3rd EXIT. A point will be awarded to the other competitor. Each exit after this a point will be awarded to the opponent.

DURATION OF FIGHTING
1½ minute rounds
2 minutes - final
The winner will be the first competitor with a maximum 10 points
or
The competitor with the most points after the time is called by the Time Keeper.

Should both competitors have scored the same amount of points after time has been called, the bout will be extended by 30 seconds. The competitor with the most points after 30 seconds will be declared the winner. However, if at this time the points are level the competitors will go into a Sudden Death situation, i.e. "First to Score" will win.

Should only 3 persons be in a category the Referee will announce a "Round Robin". Each fighter will follow the same procedure with a win outcome, the person with the most Wins will be declared the winner. If equal wins are registered, the Referee will add the amount of points and the competitor with the most points awarded the 1st place. If the points are equal, the 2 winners will fight for 1st place.

REASONS FOR STOPPING THE FIGHT

The referee has the power to give an official warning which will be added to any other warnings his fighter may have already or subsequently will receive
RESULTING IN DISQUALIFICATION OF HIS FIGHTER

INJURY
If a competitor is unable to continue, the referee will retire them injured after 15 seconds.
TO REPLACE SAFETY EQUIPMENT WHICH HAS BECOME UNFASTENED DURING FIGHTING TIME STOP MUST BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM (to ensure continuity of fight).
Time is not stopped to award points UNLESS AT THE REFEREE'S DISCRETION

Should the Competitor's Coach stop the fight to dispute a decision, the Competitors should return to their own side. The referees will then indicate for the shadow referee to approach and also the other competitor's coach. If after discussion, an overall satisfactory decision cannot be agreed upon, the main referee will then send for the Chief Referee, who will make a further decision and if necessary a vote to be taken between the 5 of them.
i.e. Referee, Shadow Referee, Both Coaches, Chief Rferee i.e. 5 votes

This vote will determine the decision and the fight will then continue. The coach at this point must accept the Chief Referee's decision. Should he not accept the voting procedures and cause an unnecessary further delay, his fighter could then be disqualified.
